Royal Tenenbaum and his wife Etheline had three children and then they separated. All three children are extraordinary --- all geniuses. Virtually all memory of the brilliance of the young Tenenbaums was subsequently erased by two decades of betrayal, failure, and disaster. Most of this was generally considered to be their father's fault. "The Royal Tenenbaums" is the story of the family's sudden, unexpected reunion one recent winter.

A character says "I'm going to kill myself tomorrow" and a few moments later takes a blade out of their razor. The act isn't seen but you see blood running down their arms and them found unconscious on the floor. Their blood is seen on the characters who found them as well. Later, the freshly stitched scars are shown.
There's a kid who is going through testing via Margot's husband. There is a portion where he asks a kid to make the same shape out of blocks that he did, and the child does it wrong. There's no punishment for it. The kid shows up randomly thereafter.
*Spoilers* Richie says “I’m going to kill myself tomorrow” before his attempt (if you want to skip it’s the part where he’s in the bathroom cutting his hair and beard)
After Chaz’s wife died in a plane crash that he, his children and his dog survived, he becomes obsessed with his children’s safety, making them do fire drills and panicking that they will be hurt. It’s played off as something funny but it’s honestly quite upsetting
