This includes some mandatory encounters tied to the main story in Chapter 4 - Particularly in the missions "Country Pursuits", where (the characters are pursued by an aggressive bullgator that attacks a minor character), and "Revenge is a Dish Best Eaten". The encounters with basic wild alligator spawns can also be quite violent if you cannot escape them in time, but they only attack when you get close.
