near the end of s1ep5 there's a dying deer crying out it seems it was hit by a car and left to agonize, they were gonna shoot it to put the poor thing out of its misery but something quickly snatches it away, it's obviously computerized but still realist and painful to watch. Highkey upset that no one mentioned this before and that I had to see it myself

(Major spoilers) Rocket Raccoon's backstory is explored, particularly how he grew up in a lab with three other experimental animals: Lylla the otter, Teefs the walrus, and Fllor the rabbit. All three of these characters are shot to death onscreen. In another scene, a living turtle is put in a chamber, sprayed with chemicals to make it evolve into a humanoid turtle, and then burned alive. In addition, an entire world of similarly evolved animal humanoids is destroyed, and several are seen dying onscreen.

Several sheep die, once at the very beginning of the film and again towards the middle. If you're squeamish about this, look away when you see sheep and you'll be fine. A cat is nearly shot by Henry Bowers for target practice later on, but he is caught by his dad, who makes him stop before he actually does it.

A wild animal (a raccoon by the looks of it) is the only animal seen in the film but it does get killed. Its quite graphic and could be upsetting. Its crushed on screen by the creatures hand/claw/foot

A dead fish is cut at a market for food, nothing bad really and there's fish that have died in a bowl when he visits an apartment to look for his brother but nothing terrible. The series is brillant and coming from someone who's overly sensitive to animals dying most of you should be ok! I recommend

*SPOILERS* There are several animal deaths throughout the film, some of them quite gory:

- A small fish is eaten by a larger fish (swift and not gory)
- A giant squid is killed by the meg shark
- A baby humpback whale is killed onscreen by the meg, which bites it in half while it is crying for its mother. The mother is also presumably killed offscreen by the meg
- Several dead mutilated sharks are seen floating in the water, having been killed by poachers that have cut off their fins
- The smaller meg shark (there are two) is killed by the main characters, who dart it with poison
- A whale is blown up by a crew that drop several packs of dynamite on it, mistaking it for the larger meg shark
- The larger meg is killed by one of the main characters by slicing open its side and then stabbing it through the eye with a spear. It is seen being attacked and eaten by other sharks before it is fully dead.

this show is horrible about animal death. a lot of the Deep's sea creature friends die gratuitously in horrible ways just to traumatize him

season 1 episode 4 (skip from 47:00 - 48:30) a dolphin dies

in S1E5 (43:45) there's brief news footage of the dead dolphin

S1E7 (35:30 - 36:45), the Deep tries to rescue a lobster from a grocery store but the clerk stabs it before he can

S2E3 (skip from 37:00 - 40:45) a whale dies
(42:00 - 44:35) the dead whale is shown again when the Seven show up and insult deep and then leave to follow the Boys

S2E5 (32:00) dead horse shown briefly

People really need better reading comprehension skills. This category clearly requests for information about animal deaths other than a dog, cat, or horse, which have their own categories. Therefore, there should be nothing but NO’s in this section, because no other animals die in this movie. The dog info already exists elsewhere.

A man falls from a building and lands on a pigeon, the pigeon is shown crushed and sticking to his body in pieces but it's mostly feathers, bones, and a beak. Turkeys are shot on screen. Mice in experiments die. Pigs used for teaching are operated on while under anesthesia and then euthanized.

A deer is hit by a car; you hear it bleat off-screen and its dead body is zoomed in on for a moment. You can see some blood on the deer's injury (which is not focused on and easy to miss) but it's not glorified at all. The entire scene is about 2 minutes long and is the only time an animal dies in the movie.

All animals are able to die and sometimes killing them provides food. However, there are ways of avoiding killing the animals:

1. Play on creative mode: in this mode, you won't get hungry and you have everything you need.

2. Don't eat meat. This is kind of hard, but not impossible: some plants are grown, and apples and potatoes are relatively easy to find.

3. Don't sleep. You need wool to make a bed, but you don't need to sleep in Minecraft, so you can just not sleep.

4. Shear a sheep instead of killing it.

5. Kill spiders instead of sheep to get wool. Spider silk can be made into wool, and the spiders are bad guys so you don't need to feel bad about killing them.

Some of the many talking, humanoid animals die. As far as I recall no regular, non-sapient animals die, because non-sapient versions of animals don't exist in this setting.
