Does someone suffer from PTSD?

There's a category for anxiety attacks, but for me PTSD functions differently. It may seem redundant, but as someone with PTSD, watching someone suffer from PTSD and exhibit symptoms can actually trigger my PTSD. I imagine some other people must feel similarly. Movies would fall into this category if a character talks about having Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or becomes triggered.

There is a moment where a character had a trauma flashback and you can tell he is still very much affected by it. Not sure whether PTSD but I would say Yes

Hopper, a vet, suffers from PTSD. Will and Eleven also seem to suffer from it after their involvement with the upside-down. In S4, the main villain, Vecna, uses teenagers’ trauma to kill them and open gates— primarily seen with Max.

Character has several flashbacks and anxiety attacks over mentions of their deceased parents. Character also hallucinates their dead sister for a brief moment. Not sure if this counts, but be wary.

Klaus fought in Vietnam and is clearly traumatized by this. In season 2 a paint mixer makes loud banging noises and he has a flashback. All of the main characters suffered traumatic childhoods and it's safe to assume that at least some of them have PTSD because of this.

Arguably, it is implied that Thor may suffer from PTSD after the trauma of losing all of his loved ones in previous movies. Valkyrie very explicitly has PTSD and Gorr discusses her trauma in great detail to trigger her as a form of emotional torture.

A lot of the characters have lived through very traumatic experiences and it clearly affects them, but the actual disorder of PTSD is never mentioned.

LITERALLY ALL OF THEM. especially tommy though due to basically everything that ever happened to his character. you could also say ranboo has it too but most of the characters probably have PTSD just because of the things they’ve gone through in the plotline

Not explicitly stated, but seems to be likely as Blackbeard has a flashback and a panic attack upon seeing the fake Kraken in “The Art of Fuckery”.

Owen Hunt has a lot of story arcs about his PTSD from being an army medic. Being triggered results in him strangling a loved one. PTSD comes up for others as well.

After escaping an abusive situation and nearly losing his life in the process, one teenage character suffers a triggering event when he sees an image of his abuser later on. This happens in S2E18: Labyrinth Runners. It's also implied that the main protagonist is starting to develop PTSD, or perhaps already has a form of it after losing her father suddenly at a young age.

Several dreams and events occur which suggest a character has PTSD from severe trauma, but the dreams and events are usually shown as having a supernatural cause rather than mental illness. An actor later reported he had PTSD from making the film.

It's very prominent in the show that Obi-Wan has PTSD. He is seen having visions/flashbacks/nightmares of his past when trying to sleep and he sees a rather haunting vision of Anakin. If you suffer with PTSD I'd recommend watching the show with a trusted adult in case you get triggered, or just avoiding the show
