Um, kind of? The protagonist is a regular, non-talking dog who realizes that the Uncle is a werewolf, and is framed as aggressive for it.

There is an uncomfortable lengthy sequence around the third act where Thor, after being mistaken for violent, gets led away from his house in catch poles by animal control. He is shown barking and struggling to get free, which may be distressing. However, a close examination of the scene indicates that the animal actor *probably* was not in pain, as Thor's barks and whimpers include SFX added in post-production, the dog can be seen wagging its tail in some shots, and, according to IMDB, the animal control officers were played by the dog's actual trainers. Still might be concerning and upsetting to watch, however.
