It’s like every other female character in the show except for very young children I guess 12 and under. Nothing sexual happens with her or anything weird in the flashback it’s just her design and the fact that her adult design is also sexualized that just shows how gross these creators were

Theirs a 2 part episode called “robins reckoning” which shows the events of robins parents being killed in a sabotage. Also for those who don’t know Batman origin story Batman’s parents were both shot right in front of him when he was a child and through out the show theirs many clear stories and moments where he goes through grief and trauma over what happened. This story is tied to pretty much all Batman media so I suggest being very careful or just avoid it. Also for the person who commented above. Explain and don’t be insensitive you don’t know who’s on here and what they know or don’t know no matter how famous a character like Batman and his origin may be

In the first episode poison ivy appears in its clear she’s dating Harvey dent. While this was a attempt to kill Harvey by poisoning him with a kiss. she then kisses Batman to poison him later in the episode. Also in the episode “mad as a hatter” the villain the mad hatter is in love with a woman named Alice. Alice is in a relationship until one night her partner and her have a fight and say they never want to see each other again. The hatter takes this info with excitement and then proceeds to take her out on the town the same or next night. Alice considers this hatters way of cheering her up after a rough break up and has no romantic feelings for him at all and she doesn’t even know hatter loves her. She just considers him a good friend. Also hatter doesn’t make any moves to make it clear he’s interested in her. When she goes home after their night her boyfriend is their and apologizes and she takes him with open arms. Next morning hatter finds out their getting engaged and out of rage decided to mind control the boyfriend to say he wants to break up and eventually mind controls Alice too. Nothing physical or emotional happens when Alice is mind controlled she is quiet and blank the whole time and eventually the boyfriend and Batman stop the hatter and Alice hugs her boyfriend in comfort. So while nothing happened I thought I point this out since I imagine it can still be uncomfortable to see someone try to pursue someone in a relationship especially with mind control. Theirs more screwy stuff then that in this show and I gave up trying to update this so if you want to watch this just prepare for the romance to suck frequently

The character named The Joker is made to very clearly represent a clown many of his episodes in the animated series have disturbing strange clown faces on carnival rides, titles cards, and weapons throughout pretty much every episode he’s in. He also laughs crazy a LOT. If you hate clowns I don’t recommend watching any joker episodes like at all.

A bit of a complicated example since thr police are presented as far from perfect and corruption is one of the show’s recurring themes, but I’m going with “yes” by virtue of the fact Batman willingly works with the police and even the examples of corruption are presented as more of “few bad apples” situation and not a system-wide problem.

In the episode Dreams in Darkness", there are several moments where doctors threaten to/attempt to sedate Batman, showing the needle every time. The only actual injection on-screen is from a far enough distance that it cannot be clearly seen.

In the episode “the forgotten” theirs a man who enslaves homeless people to mine for him. He is shown to be a negative fat stereotype while being a very large man who is constantly eating,sloppy,and stupid. No fat jokes are told about him or anything like that but the stereotype is clearly shown. Also the character detective bullock is shown to be stupid and eat too while being a fat person. Also the penguin is called fatso at one point when a criminal tries to mug him and is called fat in a negative way later in the same episode by someone else. The Penguin also appears to be another character they try to make gross because he’s fat so just more negative stereotyping.
