Mohn disappeared suddenly, leaving Lillie, Gladion, and Lusamine alone. This is believed to be the result of a magic accident.

The story follows a girl with an abusive mother. There is somewhat frequent gaslighting throughout the game, including a lot during the climax.

No one is canonically addicted to real drugs, but parallels can be drawn between the antagonist's behavior and real life addiction, and it's mentioned that she's on mind-altering substances later in the game.

At one point, Team Skull are mentioned to have cut off a Slowpoke's tail. Later in the story, a Pokemon is stolen and abused by the antagonist, but is later rescued.

Pokemon can faint, but not actually die. It's easy to get attached to your own Pokemon like their pets. If you're doing a nuzlocke however, you *do* have to treat fainting in battle like death.

I mean, dragon type pokemon can faint like normal pokemon, and it's implied that the main villain killed a lot of pokemon. That could include dragon types.

Technically, but you're not likely to see one. The only snake-like Pokemon available without transferring are Gyarados, Milotic, Dratini and Dragonair (which evolve into Dragonite, who looks more like a traditional western dragon), and Zygarde, which requires a long sidequest to obtain. The Ultra Sun and Moon games do have Ekans as a common encounter early, though

Technically. There are moves like Wrap, Bind, Fire Spin, and Constrict that constantly do damage and keep a pokemon from fleeing or swapping out, but it isn't graphic and you don't see the pokemon being restrained

Sorta? The post game does have the characters of Looker and Anabel, who are portrayed as allies to the player, and even earlier in the game there is Officer Nanu, who isn't a bad guy, but isn't the nicest of the characters either.
