Sort of? There's a clear misunderstanding of what D.I.D. is at the very least. (Spoilers!) Many characters, including Ethan himself, suspect that he is what they refer to as schizophrenic but clearly mean D.I.D., and that the killer is another of his identities. However, he is ultimately proven not to have D.I.D. (or actual schizophrenia, or anything else)

In Chapter 21 - The Butterfly (second trial) flashing lights are visible during the majority of the electric maze. Electricity randomly sparks and arcs in this room. Smaller flashes can be seen when the maze is viewed from above. Larger flashes can be seen as the camera follows Ethan through the maze in ways that bring electrical arcs to the foreground player's perspective.
