The animals in this game are fought in self-defense, though it it is implied Garula, an elephant-like animal, was a peaceful creature and that its sudden burst of violence is due to mind control from evil forces.
Galuf does have qualms about Faris's gender being female and not being privy to this when they first met. (He's a bit mad but Bartz calms him down by saying "Faris is who she is" if that makes things any better)
There's a lategame dungeon where the main character comments that they can't stay in the water for too long, and the mechanic is that you have to complete the dungeon under a time limit before he drowns.
A character refuses to get out of their clothes after having to swim through a sunken ship. Two male characters try to get them out of their wet clothes, before they realize the character is a woman. The male characters are shown as well-meaning as they worry about her health, but this causes distress to the woman, especially as she gets "outed". This is not sexual in nature.
