A teen girl's parents died in a car crash when she was little; that's all we're told. ..... An old man, a kindly father figure, is very sick and dying, and has conversations with his adult "son figure", helping him deal with the fact that he's dying. He ends up being cured and feeling completely well, but the scenes with him before he's cured were hard for me to watch.

Two people in the movie have the fictional "MacGregor's Syndrome". (We're not told what it is in the movie, but apparently it exists in other installments within the Batman universe. I found this description on the internet: "In the TV shows Arrow and The Flash, it is elaborated that MacGregor's Syndrome is a genetic-condition (similar to cancer) which along with making breathing difficult, causes organ failure.") One of the sufferers is kept cryogenically frozen and thus simply appears dead, with no signs of sickness. The only symptom the other one displays is general weakness/fatigue.

There definitely are! More than in most movies, actually. My co-watcher even commented on it, saying "This movie definitely isn't for people with epilepsy". I have no idea why anyone would answer no.

Some minor innuendo. One character kills characters through a poisonous kiss.

A major character is briefly submerged in water but is rescued quickly. Not a perilous situation.
