An early chapter involves saving the life of Missile, a Pomeranian. He's able to talk to the main character throughout this segment. Later, he's killed again and becomes a ghost; he chooses not to have his life saved, and is a playable character as a ghost on and off for the rest of the game.
The ending of the story changes most of the events of the game, and he's shown alive at the end.
A major character is existing in a state of being both dead & alive, & the way that existing while being unable to live normally among other people, & the loneliness that becomes of it is a gery Major thing with that character
Yes, but not on purpose. A character is left without parents after the one surving parent is inprisoned. Said child is taken in & raised by a family friend
There is a vital revenge plotline where a character who is mistreated is quite brutal towards the ppl who hurt them. This is a Major plotline, however, his story is not framed as “abused becomes abuser.” It is handled extremely nuanced.
I would not describe what happens as abuse, rather than simply animal death. A dog is shot, & hit by a skooter & is later revived. A cat is also shot. These are nongraphic, & all deaths can be reversed in the game
a dog is killed twice by some evil people (though he does not stay dead either time, the ways he dies are upsetting) and a cat is revealed to have been killed later in the story as well, though he also does not stay dead. however, animals’ being dead is very important to the plot.
The animal characters in the game gave the same range of emotions as the human characters. So while animals are momentarily sad, i would say they tend to be a lot more hopeful, annoyed, or happy
There is a quite literal Schrödingers cat scenario with a cat character. This is not relevent until the END of the game. If u look at the below comments, u will be spoilered for the end
A character is mentioned to have broken several bones, however it is not shown on screen. He is made to walk up stairs with his sustained injuries. This is mostly implied through dialogue & if u have issues with bone gore, it should not be triggered
Near end of the game, a character is pushed back and gets pierced through the back by an inanimate object. they stay sustained in the air for a bit as they're passed out. there's no visible blood but it happens very suddenly
This is a time travel game. Just about everyone dies at some point, and just about everyone gets better. The only characters who are permanently dead and removed from the story are antagonistic hitmen.
A character is shown swallowing pretty much an entire bottle of pills, however he is not overdosing. They are pills he needs & he is better after taking them
I would not consider this game to have copganda, however several protagonists are cops. The core of the game pretty heavily comments on how even if the people within the system are trying to do good, they Will hurt innocent people, & an innocent person being hurt by “good” police is a Major part of the plot. A child grows up to be a detective bc she is saved by him, but he is also shown to have hurt someone in the process
Several chapters are set in a prison, and the protagonist must save a prisoner from the electric chair. Much of the game's plot revolves around the stress of being incarcerated.
A character is violent as a part of a revenge plot. He is not depicted as a violent mentally ill person, but someone who has been consumed by hatred after years of solitude
A character is trying to get the death penalty for a crime he did not commit, & while it is mainly to cover for another character, it is implied his own guilt also plays a part
Lynne briefly hides in a tiny dumbwaiter (with comments about what a cramped space it is), one prisoner at the jail is digging a tunnel too narrow to turn around in and gets out of it by wiggling backwards feet-first, and someone has to roll through a crawl space, but none of these are presented in first person or from their perspectives.
Ghosts can also be trapped in isolated objects and unable to move if there's nothing in reach, and much of the endgame happens on a submarine that's been sabotaged with intent to strand a ghost who was inside it on the bottom of the ocean forever.
I dont know why people are sayung no, there is a flash warning baked into the game. It can definitely trigger photosensitive people, please play with caution
Someone does, however, push someone else out of the way of a crashing car, barely vault out of the way herself, and then get crushed by a giant fiberglass roast chicken while she's standing back and catching her breath.
The ending of the story changes most of the events of the game, and he's shown alive at the end.
