A mother slaps her teenage daughter. This is not shown as or implied to be part of an ongoing abusive situation. The daughter does not appear physically or emotionally damaged by the slap.

A 14 year old girl is pursued and at least statutorily raped by a man I would place as 25 to 30 years old. She does come to his house with the intent of having sex with him, but she dissociates during it and seems to not enjoy it, and, again, she’s 14 and he’s a full grown adult

Statutory rape, she's 14 and he's in his 20s. She meets at his home and says that originally she said no, but eventually gave in. "I had no choice." She then dissociates and cries during it and afterwards looks upset.

Not squashed, per se, but a woman is violently beaten in the head. We see blood on her face and hear the impact, but the after-effects are not shown on screen other than large amounts of blood splatter.

The opening scene reveals that a character has just murdered her mother. We do not see the murder at this time. The remainder of the film goes back to show how we came to this point, culminating with the murder itself (which is quite graphic).

There's a threat by a sister to break all of her younger brother's toys, but it doesn't actually happen. Also, a teenager's favorite record is accidentally broken. Not a toy but something a young person cares about a lot.

Not exactly but there are clay figurines and effigies that are kinda creepy and mannequin-like. In a few dream/fantasy sequences, these effigies come to life and are life-size. They are more like statues in appearance but I think folks who have issues with mannequins are pretty likely to have issues with these as well.

One of the main characters, a teenage girl, is said to have lost a lot of weight due to vomiting, with the implication that she is bulimic. This is mentioned only once in the context of a doctor's visit and is not a major part of the story. We do not see the girl engage in any disordered eating (including purging) on screen.

This film is set in the 1950s, when homosexuality was considered a mental illness that a person might grow out of" and which might someday be cured by medical science. People react to this diagnosis with horror and refer to it as "unwholesome." One character refers to her own lesbian relationship as "sin" and believes that she and her lover are insane (although in context, these statements are presented as defiant acceptance).

A teenage girl has s*x with a man. We see the male partner thrusting and panting, but their bodies are concealed by a sheet.

Two girls appear to have s*x (it is a little unclear, as this is mostly shown through fantasy sequences). Afterwards the girls are shown in bed, lying in each other's arms, and they kiss. Again, any nudity is concealed by a sheet and the two seem to be wearing nightdresses.

A number of fully-clothed fantasy creatures engage in what amounts to a large public make-out session. They kiss and caress, and some are shown writhing on the ground in a way meant to simulate s*x A female creature is shown pushing a male's head down to her cleavage.

There are frequent scenes in which the two main characters share a bathtub. These sequences are not sexual. In one scene only, a character's b*****s are faintly visible through the cloudy water; otherwise their bodies cannot be seen in any of the scenes.

In the opening moments of the film, two young girls are shown with a great deal of blood on their faces, hands, and clothes (though they themselves are not injured).

In the Director's Cut only, there are two fantasy sequences in which the characters imagine people dying violently. In one scene, a man is run through with a sword; blood comes from his mouth. In another, a girl imagines her family dying around the dinner table; blood likewise comes from their mouths.

The final scene shows a woman beaten to death. There is a great deal of blood.

In the director's cut, the final shot is of a girl's blood-covered face (again, she is uninjured).
