About 23 minutes in Brian Tyree Henry’s character is holding Viola Davis’ characters dog and right after she says, “listen I don’t have your money why don’t you just go make more?” He stand up aggressively holding the dog by its collar and you hear the dog whine. It lasts 5-10 seconds and then he gives her back the dog. She holds him protectively until BTH’s character leaves.
