Unsure - the executions by nature involve people being brutalised for spectacle, including women, but the violence is very much not gendered. I still put a ‘yes’ as it felt more technically accurate. Correct me if I’m misinterpreting it though.
It could be said that the killing game is inherently psychological torture. More specifically, the executions are pretty torturous, even by Danganronpa standards.
During the ‘secrets’ motive, it’s revealed that one of the cast is a lesbian and another is non-binary, but who exactly isn’t revealed for a while. I don’t remember if either character willingly came out by claiming their secret.
A character who was abused and mistreated by their siblings in the past acts pretty shittily to pretty much everyone else for the majority of their screentime
The animal dying hasn't been shown on screen yet, but it probably will in the chapter two closing argument. We do see the carcasses of a handful of dead fish though.
Can’t remember the exact episode but someone is non-fatally stabbed near the end of the first chapter. A corpse is also revealed to have been stabbed postmortem.
