Baltimore. New Year's Eve. A talented but troubled police officer is recruited by the FBI's chief investigator to help profile and track down a mass murderer.
This movie contains 50 potentially triggering events.
One of the characters used to be an addict and it is mentioned a few times, but I don't recall anyone doing drugs on screen (except for one of the cops taking like a painkiller once)
You do not see them harmed. At around 1:24:30 visit meat processing plant, you see cows in a pen and see them get washed. It then cuts to just the meat hanging on a conveyor belt as they process it and section them off.
Pretty graphic scene as cows are prepared for slaughter. You don’t see the living cows killed, but you do see them crowded in pens and then skinned and slaughtered.
Also another scene where a small dog is nudged with a foot. Not kicked per se, but still a little mistreated.
Shailene Woodley’s character shows the scars on her wrists from an attempted suicide. She also has a panic attack and glances at a knife on the counter.
