As an epidemic of a lethal airborne virus - that kills within days - rapidly grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself.
As this movie is about a pandemic, there are drugs used to attempt to combat this. There is a large plot-line about essential oils used as medicinal drugs as well.
The AHA note at the end reads as follows: "American Humane Association monitored some of the animal action. No animals were harmed* in those scenes."
There was some symbol on the screen where the asterisk is.
The questions are 1) what does the symbol mean, and 2) what about the other animal action that weren't monitored.
Depends if you consider the meat industry and animal trials abuse.
Monkeys are killed for testing the vaccine.
At the end of the movie, we see young pigs, harvested then dead.
I watched the whole thing and never saw someone vomit. I don't know what all the yes responders are talking about. Some people kind of foamed at the mouth, lots of coughing, that's it.
