Cinderella's step-mother literally cuts off part of the step-sisters' feet to make them fit the shoes. They're not children, so it's not child abuse, but it is definitely violent.

*SPOILERS* /auditory and visual/ On the third night, after the slipper is placed on Cinderella’s foot, the scene cuts to a swamp with several snakes seen along trees as well as hissing sounds. They are also seen swimming briefly. The scene is about a minute or so long

There's a lot of innuendo in Red Riding Hood's encounter with the wolf (and its aftermath), but nothing sexual exactly happens.

You could argue that the witch kills herself. She throws the beans away and she knows this will make her mother punish her, and she is seemingly aware she's going to die.

I would call the ending more bittersweet than sad. The characters are eventually successful in defeating the giant, which is sort of a good thing (but the giant is also sort of not the bad guy). It's hopeful, but like half the cast has died, so it can't be entirely happy. It's partly about growing up, which is not entirely happy or sad--it just is.
