This movie contains 1 potentially triggering events.
2 dogs get eaten alive by demon-possessed men.
1: A possessed man chases the dog Waldo, off-screen because he is hungry. The dog is whimpering because he knows he is in trouble. Off screen, we hear the whimpering change to a whine, followed by crunching noises. The movie is pretty funny, but this scene is almost unbearable for dog lovers, even though they don’t show it on screen. He’s a cute dog, the dog actor does a great job in his few scenes, and just hearing that he is being eaten alive is rough. You can avoid the scene if you fast forward a couple minutes after a tentacle comes out of the man’s stomach.
2: A man in the past is shown eating his nephew’s dog. We hear the dog whimper and yelp. The kid comes out and we see the man from behind holding the dog up to his face and eating it while it squirms. It is truly haunting and awful. Even though the scene is offering info into why the evil exists, dog lovers should probably fast forward or skip it altogether. This is worse than the first eating scene, due to gore, the sounds the dog makes, and actually seeing it eaten alive.
