the kid's dad keeps disappointing him by not showing up to stuff, he never actively abuses him tho. in one scene the main character has to chase after a random toddler because she has something of his, she puts it in her mouth and he tries to squeeze it out, the mother sorts him out tho
At one point in the film a reindeer is socked in the face. Other than that and the fact the same reindeer is given an alcoholic beverage later in the movie (which I’m not sure can count as abuse or not) there really isn’t anything else
A character has hot coffee spilled on his hands and is shown to be in pain. The character has thick mittens on, so nothing graphic, but there is an audible sizzling sound.
Arnold’s character is flying around on a jet pack at the end of the movie, at 1:19:51 he gets stuck in a banner and is spinning around. He makes a gaging noise and fills up his cheeks, no vomit is shown. It’s over at exactly 1:20:00
Movies has 4 no’s and so I watched it with my gf… she got triggered as hell… please only vote if you’ve seen the movie and put time stamps if you vote…
an adult character ends up having to go inside kid's play equipment with tubes etc, he doesn't seem to be afraid of the small space but i feel like its worth mentioning
There is a scene near the end of the movie where Booster (thing pink sidekick of Turbo Man) gets thrown off of a parade float and a kid yells "we don't like you, fag!". It is very fast. My wife and I watch this movie every year and it took us probably 10 years to notice it. I would be money it was the kid ad-libbing as it doesn't appear to be in the script. Its not related to the plot or super noticeable, but it is there. Most people won't notice it was even said.
The people voting no are either misremembering or watching an alternate version. There is a brief scene after the end credits in the original version. The "extended version" moves this scene to just before the end credits.
