The yoga guru says or pushes some ideas that he is the only way, you can only be a good teacher through him, etc. Very cult-like. The documentary has a lot to do with his manipulative behavior.
Later on after he sexually forces himself on woman, they’re hurt and confused and tell him goodnight before leaving.
~ 48 minutes
Sarah talks about being brainwashed. And becoming pregnant (with her husband). When her daughter was 3, she said to Sarah that she wants to be just like her and teach yoga. Sarah says that she could only think “no, you’ll get r*ped”.
~ 58 minutes
A lawyer is telling how these woman were conditioned and told to trust the process. It is a closed system of how people are recruited so that people stayed silent and available.

There are comments such as “what are you doing about that fat stomach” and “you need a pedicure”. No one is seen reacting negatively to these comments.

They’re more comments from the guru saying people have a fat stomach. No jokes but rude and direct.

Bikram was not prosecuted by the judge. The women did not get justice. They were forced to settle after he fled the country.
He’s down in Mexico doing the same thing.
Bikram remains a fugitive in the Unitied States, but no criminal indictments or extradition warrants have been issued against him.
The documentary ends with him announcing another teacher training, and him singing, “that’s why you pay for, that’s why I am here” in class with new students.
