You don't see it up close or really at all but the guy has his finger in between the scissors then it is zoomed out and at an angle where you can't really see it but you can see the scissors closing and the guy screams. SPOILER: There is clear sexual tension throughout the first half of the film between Kick-Ass and his love interest. One scene shows Kick-Ass (not in costume) applying lotion on her while topless (she's covered in the scene), but at this point, she presumes he's gay. When he comes clean with her about his Kick-Ass persona and not being gay, they become a couple and there is a brief scene where they get it on in a back alley (they are clothed and the scene is short, but it's still considerably graphic).
