the 90s so it's played off, but there's an episode where 30+ year old Billy ray Cyrus holds a kissing contest and girls as young as 15 sign up to kiss him. it's not shown on screen. also at one point 17 year old Maggie is dating a 25 year old and they act like Mr. Sheffield is the crazy one for being bothered by this.

Unintentionally. A mother gives Fran her baby to hold on the subway, the mother gets off, Fran doesn't notice and the mother isn't able to get back on because people are still exiting/pushing. Fran takes the baby home, believing it to be abandoned. Later a sketch of Fran is shown on the news, saying she's wanted for abducting the baby. She is briefly arrested and in jail, but it gets sorted out in the end.

The theme of the episode is Mother’s Day and the father spends the whole time trying to distract his children.
Another important plot point is that the youngest child doesn’t remember her mother anymore
It’s not overly sad but there is a bit of a dampened mood.

They are one of the main running jokes, if not the main running joke throughout the whole series. I'm fairly certain that there is a fatphobic joke or comment in every episode, including directed frequently at people who are thin.

For further context/clarification of the other comment - the words are not used as slurs, the joke is more about language changing over time. The words are used in their earlier meanings - gay to mean happy, queer to mean unusual/strange, and fag as in the British slang for cigarette. Yes, part of the joke is that now these words have a connection to homosexuality, but as far as 'haha, something/someone seems gay but isn't' jokes go, it's pretty mild.
