Not in the 2012 movie. However, in the novel, Jean Valjean arranges for himself to be buried alive and dug out again as part of an escape plan. There might be movie adaptations where this is included.

When Jarvert commits suicide by jumping off a bridge, it is shown that there was some sort of partially underwater structure probably made of metal that he falls onto. It was quite a large fall too so he definitely broke a bone on imact.

YES big time. The first half of the movie contains only mild flickering from flames, but the second half of the film contains quite a bit of very flashy gunfire. From 1:42:45 to 1:43:58 are intensely flashing explosions and gunfire, and again in a major way for a few minutes at about the 2 hour mark. If you are sensitive at all to gunfire flashes I would not recommend watching.

NO RELATIONSHIPS:
There is one scene that has the lines that follow (could be off putting to some)
(Setting: in the dark, Father and Man are approaching a house. There is a girl standing outside who Father assumes is a prostitute, but it is his Daughter. He can’t see her very well.)
Father: who is that hussie? (Tone isn’t sexual, it’s angry)
Man: you don’t recognize your own kid?
