A motor-mouthed outsider with no memory of his past is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief, he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.
Child actor kills dog with knitting needles in the first four minutes of episode seven. You don’t see the dog (friendly golden retriever) getting stabbed but you hear it whimper, and the boy’s face is splashed with blood. Everyone starts screaming. Episode 7, the scene is the cold open before the title card. It’s not brought up again so just skip the first four minutes or when you see the dog comes onstage fast-forward to the title card. I found the show pretty entertaining, but I could’ve done without that.
John looking at a group of adult seals off in the distance then he looks down to see a baby seal in front of him looking up at him. An adorable moment until the cut scene and then John is apparently cooking the meat of the baby seal. Granted the death of the seal is not shown, but was it really necessary for the writers/director to show how touching a moment can be then BAM! Stopped watching the show at that moment and have no interest in resuming it. I for one am happy with the strike in Hollywood. Tired of the bullshit from those barbarians just for shock factor.
Full body of deceased deer shown in the road with insides showing- Season 1 Episode 9- skip when Quiet is driving in the car and looks down at map until scene where John is back on screen.
A woman and her brother are told by a horrible asshole in a cop uniform (and a few goons, all with guns) that one of them has to die by a gun he gives them. The brother holds hands with her, then quickly shoots himself in the head so that his sister won’t be the one to die. If that’s not sacrificing himself, I don’t know what is.
Quiet and John drink tea and shortly after they v. Quiet does it again shortly after. At 11:55, happens twice then a commercial break and one more afterwards, overall lasts for 27 seconds.
An old lady peacefully dies after she drinks tea laced with poison from plants. She was sick and decided to take her own life in her own way. You see her drinking the tea, but her actual death happens offscreen and was not considered to be traumatic for the character.
