She also boils water in a tea kettle and leaves the room to find their child and used it in some way on an infant. Because the main character is the father and he loses consciousness we don’t see the murder of the infant or hear more than baby cries thank god but it’s tense and upsetting.

During the mothers attack at the end of the episode she chains up the father with a bike lock around his neck and chains around his body. She uses a hammer on his face which does cause intensive swelling and in the next episode it’s suggested even worse damage was done to his eye. He get reconstructive surgery and his eye is okay in the next episode but bandages are used for parts of it to cover the eye. There is no enucleation.

At the end of the episode the mother is in a state of what seems to be possession and ties up the father and murders their infant son. The murder is not on screen but you do hear a baby crying. The way the child is murdered is not revealed, it is done in a separate room off screen but seems to involve hot water.

About forty minutes into the first episode the main character and his wife are stuck on a subway in New York while she is in labor. She gives birth on the train and both she and the infant survive. There is light gore/blood on both characters as well as the baby. I had to fast forward this scene as it was several minutes of tension. It did not seem like they showed a lot of the bloody parts of childbirth but they definitely spend several minutes of active labor on screen.
