No dogs die. There is a room full of dead animals at the beginning which probably has a dog among all the other animals (there is definitely a cat, as that is focused on the most).
multiple scenes of guns being pointed at several characters, multiple characters are shot, one character's gun is triggered to go off in their own face when fired
Not aphobia, but allo-normativity.
A character makes a comment about how another character must just have had a bad break-up, since he barely looked at her or the other woman present and insists that isolated on an island she "definitely is his type".
At the beginning of the movie in the creepy house, when the blonde lady enters the room that has “private” written on the door, the room is full of dead animals hung from the ceiling on hooks.
When the profilers are on the island looking for their first practice crime scene, two of them enter a building with food on a table. There are large worms (?) all over the food and all over one of the mannequins sitting at the table.
No amputation but a character is killed by being frozen with liquid nitrogen and their legs fall off, and then their body breaks into several more pieces. Later, an already dead person’s head falls off.
a mutilated cat corpse is suspended from the ceiling, and one mannequin decorated to simulate a dead body and later a character's dead body are suspended from the ceiling via hooks
references are made to a character's sibling who was forcibly drowned, and later that character has their head held underwater against their will, although they don't die
