One route involves the protagonist getting into a relationship with another girl for the sake of emotionally abusing her. However a separate route largely implies the girl to be a sexual sadist, leaving the notion of the protagonist gaslighting her up to interpretation.

In one of the storylines, The protagonist, whose been emotionally abused, enters a gay relationship where she becomes emotionally abusive, controlling and humiliates her girlfriend in front of her friends has zero remorse when she is called out on it and even says “abusing feels f*****g awesome, don’t knock it until you try it” when initially confronted over it. As with all over things in this game, it’s played up for black comedy and to satirise Teenage girl behaviour but again, some people may feel this is crossing the line, especially given the other girl in the relationship is one of the very few characters who isn’t a completely terrible person.

The protagonist intentionally creates a situation where a girl has a mental breakdown in front of the entire school, which gets recorded and laughed at by all the students, and gets hospitalised for a panic attack, all over a really petty argument with her from several weeks ago. It’s played up for dark comedy and to satirise real life catty teenage girl behaviour but this could easily be crossing a line into mean spiritedness for some people.

This is kind of hard to call on considering almost every character in the game is a bad person, protagonist included, and the endings are all played up for dark comedy so some of the grim endings can come off as funny or at the least deserved, but there’s two characters, Ari and Megan, who are fairly innocent people ,and get pretty horrific endings when the worst thing they do is just be kind of annoying to the protagonist.
