During a scrap towards the end of the movie, a girl is grabbed around the waist and physically prevented from getting away. Then a boy is held in place by one of the thugs while the other gets ready to use brass knuckles on him.

There is a G-rated implication toward the end of the movie. Two teenage boys corner and grab a teenage girl, forcing her into an alleyway. One of the boys puts his hands on her waist. She fights but is unable to free herself. Her brother runs over to help her and they taunt him with "We've got the best part of your family right here." That's as far as it goes.

A newsie named Kid Blink does have an eyepatch, we do not know if he was born with one eye or it was injured though. Maybe he's just blind in one eye.

Though it is implied in the stage adaptation, there are no broken bones in the 1992 film.

Near the beginning, a boy sitting in a tub and having water poured over him is the closest to a shower scene this movie gets.

Okay, with regards to what the other comment said, Medda is played by Ann-Margret who was actually in her fifties at the time, and yes Medda does "flirt" with the young newsies, but it's just banter fitting Medda's stage persona. No suggestion they actually have a romantic or sexual relationship.
