in tablet 12 there is brief mention of Enkidu 'hitting the son he hates' however this is just a single line and the context is not entirely clear. Tablet 12 is also not considered a canonical part of the story and is not present in many translations.

possibly, depending on your reading. Gilgamesh and Enkidu describe themselves as brothers, friends, and brides (or bridegrooms) interchangeably, and also frequently kiss, hold each other, and make reference to having sex with each other in tablet 12 of the poem. the men are not related by blood, but Enkidu is symbolically adopted as a son by Gilgamesh's mother, Ninsun. I personally do not read this as an incestuous relationship.

the poem's whole thematic deal is about Gilgamesh's attempts to achieve immortality after witnessing the tragic death of Enkidu. he fails and comes to the conclusion that immortality is only possible through legacy. topics of making sense of death are heavily focused on in the second half of the poem.
