Episode 1: The main character enters an abandoned cabin. While she’s looking around, they show a frozen dead cat :(
Skip from 55:10-55:30 to avoid seeing the cat. All you miss is her looking around
SPOILERS AHEAD
Cat is shown again close up this time in episode 7 (~23:52-56). Skip from 23:46-24:00 to safely avoid seeing. You just miss the character entering the cabin and seeing the cat.
Note: in episode 7, they to back and forth between showing the cat alive and dead. Reference to Schrödinger I guess
Cat is shown both alive and dead in ep 7 at 36:19-23 & 36:28-32. Can skip or look away from 36:16-34 to be safe. You’ll miss the character looking at the cats confusedly, the live cat meow and sniff the dead cat, and the live cat (I think) start to eat the dead cat. (Obvi this is a show so there’s not really a cat eating a cat. But it made me feel a little better to see what looked like cat food for a split second before the live cat blocked it from view.)

Edit: actually the wound is shown in gruesome detail at the very end and it’s worse than it seemed before but also kinda bloodless by that point

This is a major theme in the show. Simplification to avoid spoilers: a main character whose mother dies suddenly while in space. She struggles to accept this. A minor character loses her father in the same way. Another main character is told her mother lived, but in reality, she died. All 3 are young girls.

There are two nearly identical universes in the show- in one, the main character dies, and her coworker survives. In the other, she lives and her coworker dies. The characters switched realities at the time of their deaths. Both versions of her daughter lose their mother in different ways. Her original daughter has to live as if her mother is dead, while in reality, she's alive in an alternate universe. The other version of her daughter, whose actual mother died, ends up living with this other version of her mother, while mourning the death of her actual mother. It's complicated technically and emotionally.
