A body of a squeezed and run over cat is explicitly shown (56:56-57:03 to skip it).
The cadavers of dead cat bodies are shown (1:08:16-1:08:53 to skip it
SPOILER & TRIGGER WARNING:
The alien ship runs on dead cats, the characters talk about killing cats and exploding cats heads.
One of the characters voluntarily gives the cat to the alien to kill it, the cat is killed.
Then they show the cadavers of all the dead cats.
Pretty disturbing and distasteful, and unnecessary. Stopped watching the movie because of it. A lovely premise of a movie ruined by the perpetual showcase of violence towards cats.

There are deceased cats that the characters look for through the second half onwards of the movie for the alien's spaceship, they're not visually shown much other than the first who looks like it was run over

However there is the last one who is alive and one of the old lady's pet they need to get and they all prepare for it to die a graphic way, as they heard the alien could make something's head explode, but it turns out to just be peacefully put to sleep and has no pain shown
