Someone in the main party is brainwashed into leaving the house they were staying at during the night.
Falin sneaks out of her school at night by climbing down a window, presumably without prior notice.
Falin and Laios's parents are described as shunning them. Laios states that after he left home, he imagines Falin ate her meals alone. He states Falin was treated poorly due to her magical abilities. In a nightmare, Laios is yelled at by his parents for not being respectable.
In Episode 21, a character is seen drinking pretty large amounts of alcohol. He’s very enthusiastic about having access to it, but it’s not clarified whether or not it’s an addiction problem. He doesn’t seem to get drunk either.
They kill a lot of monsters to cook them. In episode 12 they show what look to be cow-like creatures which are dead. All throughout the episodes with the dragon (11 and 12) there are dead wargs (wolf-like monsters) which have been burned/eaten by the dragon.
Dryads, very humanoid monsters, are decapitated to kill them. A stew is then eaten out of the severed heads, which a character is understandably grossed out by.
In episode 23, it’s revealed that there is a very real possibility that a character was unknowingly fed human remains as a child. It turns out that he ate a monster, not a human, but the suspense of figuring out what really happened was a plot point for part of the episode.
In episode 11 Senshi and Chilchuck are crushed by the dragon, Marcille heals them and you can hear their bones cracking as theyre put back into place. This happens again in episode 20
Many adventurers fight with swords/knives so a ton of fighting and monster-slaying is done via stabbing. A Chimera is graphically stabbed several times but lives in episode 17.
Kabru's team dies and has to be revived via magic multiple times. It almost becomes a running joke. Namari is shot straight through the head by a monster but is also revived. Falin is eaten by a dragon in episode 1.
In episode 21, it’s revealed that a character’s parent was permanently killed in a massacre.
In episode 23, a fairly young character’s adventuring party is permanently killed. None of them were blood related, but one particular character puts special emphasis on taking care of younger generations, and treated the character almost like a son until he died.
Some natural water bodies are seen in backgrounds.
Many characters enter a part of the dungeon partially filled with water, they use magic to cross it, but several fights take place above and beneath the water surface.
Basically every time a ghost shows up, although it's kind of hard to tell if they're fully possessed because they start to lose consciousness and ice over
i'll update as i watch: episode 1 after he eats the scorpion no visual and very fake sounding audio episode 2-7 are safe however there is slight mentions in 7 and frequent re* that sounds so incredibly fake it's just "uugh"
Large amounts of spit, mucus, and tears stream down two characters' faces due to exposure to Dryad pollen. If ANY secretions are an issue, stop watching about 4 minutes in to episode 15.
I wouldn't say so, but Laios is very autistic coded (and voiced by an autistic man in the dub 🎉 ) and in episode 17 Shuro yells at him/hits him because he doesn't like that Laios is socially unaware and was trying too enthusiastically to be around him/befriend him
In some ways, it can be; the dungeon that the series takes place in tends to change its structure, but it happens pretty infrequently. Death and immortality are extremely ambiguous, but it's generally understood that inside the dungeon, people can be brought back from the dead.
In episodes 22 and 23, a character has an encounter with a monster that killed a group he used to travel with. This sends him into a brief panic attack.
Kind of. Some characters are shown to hate races like elves and beastmen. Some language used by these characters can parallel real-life racist remarks, but aren’t necessarily targeted towards a skin color. Basically fantasy racism
Female character rips off a damaged shirt, but her breasts remain covered.
A teenage character undresses before her party because she has monster features, but is immediately covered up. Portrayed in a non-sexual way and nothing shown.
Dryads (human-like plant monsters) are naked but do not have nipples or genitals, basically doll anatomy.
Harpies are shown with bare breasts, but those aren't focused on.
Ehhhh, not really but it could be interpreted that way in a couple scenes. One character is very fascinated by monster anatomy and gets embarrassed when people ask why. In Episode 21, he seems way too happy to be milking a cow-like monster. Literally every other character in the show thinks that’s really weird, though.
