There’s not necessarily a dog shown dying on screen, but the majority of the animals in the world die and a few that are on the ark as well. So technically, yes.
During one scene the sons of Cain appear to be bartering their own daughters/family members in exchange for meat. There are numerous threats of death made against newborn babies.
Noah yells at his son, Ham, and pushes him down. Noah also threatens to kill his son’s twin baby girls, and holds a knife above one of the babies, about to stab her.
No, but the Watchers explode, and their bodies (which are made of rocks) fly everywhere, killing many of the “evil” soldiers that are attacking the ark. Then the Watchers’ souls float up to what is implied as God or Heaven.
Most of the animals in the world die, we also see several animals killed and eaten by the sons of Cain and it’s portrayed as a sin. At one point a living animal is ripped apart by hordes of hungry people. I wouldn’t necessarily call it animal abuse, but it’s also not pleasant.
Not shakey cam exactly but there is a scene once the forest starts growing (about 30mins in) where the camera spins around and then shortly after when the camera follows the stream flowing out into the world and the scenes change very rapidly. And then again shortly after that when Shem and Ila are running through the woods and the camera is tracking them.
There is a scene in the middle of the movie during a storm when a young girl goes into labor. Lots of screaming, crying, and begging her mother to keep it inside her. Unsure how graphic as I turned off immediately. 3 hour panic attack ensued 😔
