Feels like watching a film that was created by a team who really loves Alfred Hitchcock films. A slow-burn mystery, along with some scattered thrills, really amps up the tension long before the credits role.
Maika Monroe carries the film with a commanding presence, further cementing her status as one of the top mystery/thriller/horror film actors working today. If you ever wanted to see a writer/director combine thematic elements from Lost in Translation and Rear Window, including intentional references to Se7en and Don’t Look Now, this film is worthy of your time.
Just keep in mind some of the notable triggers popping up, particularly the Watched Without Knowing, Stalking, and Blood/Gore categories.

Many scenes have a claustrophobic "feel" due to camera work and situational context, even when they don't take place in an enclosed space. The scene at the grocery store near the beginning, and the one on the subway towards the end may be triggering in terms of evoking a "trapped" kind of feeling.

Her husband does not reassure her about her mental state or the very real and dangerous situation she's in. Instead, he makes fun of her in front of his colleagues, downplays her concerns, isolates her, and makes her feel guilty about her stress and fear.

There is talk of an animal potentially being on the subway tracks but it's never stated for sure whether it's alive or deceased. A man says something about subway workers chasing down a dog, but it's all kind of in passing and just to make the scene feel more tense as the subway is stopped.
