There were absolutely no dogs in any of the several short stories shown. There was a ferret in the third story (Lunatique), but it is shown alive at the end in the very last scene, figuring out how to get out of its cage/pen.
SPOILER ALERT: I am adding a note here because the third short story (Lunatique) could leave you guessing about the ferret, sort of. Spoiler! The main character is caught by a creature at the end of the short story and is hanging upside down, essentially waiting to be killed/eaten by the creature, which is what I presume will happen to them when the camera cuts off. Then the last 30 seconds of the episode takes the time to show you that the main character's pet ferret is pushing and prodding and figuring out how to get out of its cage/pen. Presumably, some individuals may be disturbed by the fact that the ferret is now left alone in a post apocalyptic world in a cage/pen. But, I would choose to be optimistic, as the ferret does seem to be figuring out how to slip out of its pen at the end, and perhaps it will find a way out of the building and city entirely.
Nothing killed on screen. Just shows skeletons of various animals throughout the scenery of the third short story (Lunatique): elephant, maybe a horse, and various other nondescript skeletons. At the end there is a nondescript corpse/skeleton hanging next to the protagonist, but it honestly could be human or animal as it was not detailed enough for me to tell.
