You don’t see any animals die. Let alone a pet. There’s a pet fish that is seen in flashbacks and that’s it. There is a dead animal, but it’s already skinned and is being processed.

1:20:00 The protagonist is drinking heavily at a bar and vomits from drunkenness. Very quick you only need to skip a minute

At around 58:20 there's a man behind a curtain. When you see the meat hook with blood beneath it skip ahead. (throughout the next sequence it keeps coming back to the dead animal so it's best to skkip.) Here's what you'll be missing: The man called wayne devereaux is butchering an animal that is shown onscreen. Roy Freeman goes there to talk to him. Devereaux says that the Professor helped him get back on his feet when he was having troubles (Much like the prof did for Richard Finn) Devereaux describes the Prof as a celebrity and says everyone loved him. In a flashback we see Laura B looking across the room at him with a sort of wistful longing. D says the prof always had important people coming to the house, that the prof was developing trauma medication and testing it on people for the DOD. Apparently the perfect person for testing it on was D since he was in the iraq war and had plenty of bad memories. Flash back to the prof talking to D saying "D what if i told you that through medicine and suggestion, you could replace the memory of your trauma in irag with better memories? Or perhaps erase the memory altogether?" Then after D says 'sign me up' the prof says "In order to do this we must first confront the traumatic memories" D flashes back on what happened. D takes two pills a day to try and wipe the slate clean. The pills helped but there was hella side effects like vomiting blacking out forgetting who he was. D stopped taking the meds afainst the prof's wishes. WHen they get back in the truck you can start watching.
