(SPOILERS)
Depends on your definition. Jo works an 18 hour shift to punish himself for accidentally destroying someones work, and Molly hits herself on the head a few times when she finds out she's stuck in a time loop. Leaf almost cuts her rhinophores off to prove to August that she's not human.

SPOILERS
Kind of...? August Foster was supposed to die in their original timeline from getting caught in a bear trap, however this doesn't end up happening because of Leaf saving them. That is about as close to a character dying that we've gotten so far. Also, I feel like it's worth mentioning that a majority of the cast is LGBT. I personally doubt any of them will die because of this.

Jo makes fun of himself for almost crying in an earlier chapter. I don't think he does this because "men don't cry" though, but it could still be interpreted that way since at that point we aren't completely familiar with his character.
