Someone jabs a red hot iron rod at a donkey to make it move. It's seemingly played for laughs because there's a shot of the donkey's pained face.

A toddler does, however, almost get crushed by a collapsing structure (he gets saved at the last moment), and the child is clearly in real and extreme distress (screaming, sobbing, and calling for his mum).

There is no actual throw up in this movie. But towards the beginning of the movie, Elizabeth falls into the water and starts drowning. After Jack jumps in to save her he puts her back on shore but she is still unconscious. Jack then cuts a part of the dress open (She is wearing something underneath) and she wakes up immediately, spitting out water. This seen is brief but if you think that this will trigger you I suggest closing your eyes when Jack puts her back on shore and wait just a bit.

One brief scene involves a character unhappily having her corset tightened and having trouble breathing from it. No dysmorphia, but seemed worth mentioning just in case.

There is no graphic or direct sexual assault. However, there are some moments that could be considered sexual harassment. For example, Elizabeth being told that if she doesn't wear a certain dress, she will have to dine with the crew while naked.

There is a character, Marty, with a form of dwarfism. When he is introduced as a member of Jack's new crew, Will makes a sarcastic, and potentially rude, comment saying "This is your able-bodied crew?" Granted, he is addressing the whole crew and not just Marty, but it still could be upsetting to some viewers.

Two male characters (who are implied/interpreted as being gay) are, however, made fun of for taking an interest in and wearing dresses.

There is a prolonged scene where a woman has trouble breathing in a tight corset; she faints from lack of oxygen, then immediately nearly drowns when she falls into water. Several characters choke and wheeze when their throats are slit. A man struggles with a noose tightening around his neck.

Shot of decaying bodies swinging from nooses in the beginning of the movie. Dramatically drawn out hanging scene at the end with extensive charges read, drums beating, and frantic last minute rescue plans being made.
