An adolescent girl is working in a brothel as a witches assistant (not a prostitute). A guard tries to get her to have sex with him via dialogue (no physical force). Nothing happens, but the dialogue is uncomfortable and the cinematography is deliberate in emphasizing the smallness of the child compared to the man.

A 15-year-old character is conscripted from an orphanage to a brothel. She works there as an assistant and witches apprentice, not a prostitute. There is a scene where guards enter the brothel and one guard attempts to "seduce" her while she retorts back to him and the dialogue is very suggestive. The characters are shown in a wide shot that accentuates the size difference between the man and the girl, which makes the dialogue all the more uncomfortable.

A character is born as a princess but kidnapped and held captive, while in captivity they are given a potion that turns them into a boy. When they are rescued their body reverts to female. While this character is not trans in the traditional sense (this character is based on one written in the 1890s), there is a great deal of discussion regarding gender identity. They frequently insist they are a boy while presenting female and others often directly tell them they are a girl.

Not directly, but "science vs magic" is a consistent theme as the Wizard is opposed to magic and tries to purge it in what is akin to a religious cleansing.

There is a character based on Ozma from Frank L Baums original books which were written back in the 1890s/1900s. This character is a princess who is being held captive and given a potion that turns them into a boy and they are raised believing they are a boy. When they are rescued they no longer have the potion and return to female form. Their birth name Ozma is revealed, but it is done as a reveal of their true royal identity, not as a malicious deadnaming.

A character is tricked into shooting themselves in the head. Not technically a suicide, but visually similar. Later we see the corpse with a bullet hole in the head.
