In the "It's terror time again" chase sequence, there is a moment where Shaggu steps on what he thinks is a rock, but is really an alligator. There is also a scene where Scooby and Shaggy fall off a ferry boat and must be rescued from alligators. Finally, during Lena and Simone's backstory, they mention that their fellow settlers tried to flee into the bayou from pirates only to be eaten by alligators (this is only described, rather than explicitly shown. We only see the villagers enter the water and gators gather around)
