Haku in his dragon form was bleeding out from internal wounds. His condition stabilizes but he goes unconscious and is covered in blood. It is never assumed he’s dead.

There is a character with a human body and eight legs, working with a herd of fluffy eight-legged creatures. Both of them are not exactly spider-like figures.

Chihiro’s parents are under the influence of spirit magic that makes them act strangely and this leads to them being pretty negligent and awful to Chihiro. It’s unclear how much of their behavior is a result of the spell and how much is their personality traits. They plan to leave her on her own in the car in the middle of nowhere while they go explore but she follows them only because she’s scared, so I’d argue that that’s abandonment.

Chihiro is no older than 13, and she is working for the bathhouse. This is child labor and could be considered child abuse.

I am genuinly curious who all the yeses refer to? I do not remember any alcohol, except for the owner saying that the employees get a sake on the house, but that is only mentioned, too

Chihiro's parents are trapped and penned up as pigs. She herself is unable to leave the spirit world, but is otherwise able to move around freely.

When No-Face is chasing after Chihiro, he breaks down some doors and they fall onto some of the bathhouse employees, then he steps on top of the doors to get to Chihiro. We don’t see the employees again but they’re assumed to be fine.

Was worried about this one as there are three magic bouncing heads - they get magically transformed at one point but suffer no physical harm.

Spirits turn humans into pigs for livestock. Someone briefly talks about cooking the protagonist at 41:36. A humanoid spirit eats a few other humanoid spirits but vomits them up and they're fine by the end of the movie.

There is no amputation - there are three heads without bodies that just sort of ... bounce around. I don't think decapitation is implied - they're just three magical bouncing heads.

No parents die, but the child is separated from her parents for the majority of the movie, giving her that "I'm alone and my parents aren't here" sort of feeling that can be difficult for some children.

TONS of it. Chewing, swallowing, squishing, sludge, gurgling, vomiting, dishes crashing, a train bell… if any of these might bother you, which they did not for me, you might need to proceed with caution.

The most claustrophobic scene I can think of would be when Chihiro is in a pretty small elevator with a big spirit, so she's squished up against the wall with not a lot of room.

The very young protagonist is panicking and uses her fists to thump the sides of her head, mid-level of force, to “wake up” from the “dream” she thinks she’s experiencing. It reminds me of when I used to do it, and children watching or previous self-harmers might be upset or driven to mimic.
