On a stormy night, young Jim, who transports a luxury car from Chicago to California to deliver it to its owner, feeling tired and sleepy, picks up a mysterious hitchhiker, who has appeared out of nowhere, thinking that a good conversation will help him not to fall asleep. He will have enough time to deeply regret such an unmeditated decision.

The main actor (C. Thomas Howell) walks up to a car on the side of the road, knowing the lethal hitcher was in that car, he stops to look inside the car. Some blood drips on his shoe (the family in the car was obviously slaughtered, but not shown) and he runs back to his car and it happens. Just skip ahead when he's looking in the Volkswagen bug and blood falls on his shoe. Audio and visual.
Also- while eating fries in a restaurant, the same man finds a severed finger in his fries. He runs outside and starts to v* but he could just be spitting out the food.
