Renowned oceanographer Steve Zissou has sworn vengeance upon the rare shark that devoured a member of his crew. In addition to his regular team, he is joined on his boat by Ned, a man who believes Zissou to be his father, and Jane, a journalist pregnant by a married man. They travel the sea, all too often running into pirates and, perhaps more traumatically, various figures from Zissou's past, including his estranged wife, Eleanor.

When Team Zissou rescues Bill, the bond company stooge, from the abandoned hotel on Ping Island after he is kidnapped by pirates, there are large snakes all over the place.
Nothing explicit shown on screen, but the main character is an older middle aged man and someone mentions that recently he had been hitting on a 15 year old girl and it terrified her.
Small living quarters. Characters in very close spaces. If you're someone who fears being in small spaces with other people that cannot be escaped, there are many scenes of this nature, though no one is shoved in a box or stuck in an elevator or anything.
