The main character runs out of ketchup and dips a potato in Vicodin as a replacement. He also uses a painkiller when he is injured but it is not specifically named.

It didn't seem too bad to me but there is a self-surgery scene near the beginning. There are also some shots late in the film of Mark's starving body.

The only scene in a hospital room is at the very end, when one of the astronauts and her husband are holding their new baby while watching a rocket launch on TV.
However, there is an intense, several minute long scene early in the movie when the main character is treating his own bloody wound.

There is no body dysmorphia. I'm not sure why so many people answered yes. A character loses a lot of weight because he doesn't have access to enough food, but that's not what body dysmorphia is.

Watch out for the interview scenes and the scenes of raging storms on Mars. They can be flashy enough to induce headaches, migraines, or seizures thanks to cameras and lightning. This wasn't on here before and I almost gave my partner a seizure thanks to that.
