They sacrificed a goat in the start of the movie. Then we see a cat without it's head and then we see the head. We didn't see them actually use the cat in the ceremony but we are left to believe they did at the horrific crime scene.

Cats decapitated head in shown in a ritual setup. Calf and rabbits dead on an alter at the end. A couple of dead goats. One of whose head is floating in the water. Dead chickens. Most are shown already dead, but a goat and a chicken are killed in the scene. But the camera switches angles before it happens
