Characters cough very aggressively and choke when they stumble upon grisly scenes and/or smelly places. There doesn't seem to be any vomiting in the movie.

Around 37 mins in, a horse is shown dead with a blood soaked rag over it’s head and face. The death is not seen, just the body.

Near the end of the movie. It's also talked about throughout.

At 38 min in, someone’s head is shot off which is fast but graphic. To avoid it, skip in to around 39 min. Later, from 1:10:45 to 1:11:17, there is a scene where the older brother kills an officer by kicking him in the head; it’s not graphic but still disturbing.

Not a "kid" technically, but the man is implied to be very young.
