Not necessarily, but there is verbal abuse which includes implications of what a woman's "place" should be and what she "should be doing" as a wife to a male character

There's a scene where Abigail goes unannounced outside Tallie and her husband’s window in the middle of the night, where she uses binoculars to look through their window.

Absolutely - with Tallie and her husband. In a scene about an hour in he threatens her with violence in a manipulative way, stating that many husbands kill their wives. Scenes later Abigail witnesses some of the abuse and is powerless to stop it. Later when the women and their husbands are eating together visible bruises are seen on Tallie and when Abigail attempts to ask about it Tallie says it was an accident and that she fell - language frequently used in storylines about domestic violence. All in all - it's very present in this movie if it's something you'd like to skip.

A horse is put in peril by having to make its way (along with it's owner) through a snow storm, but remains fine as far as we see in the film.

The manner in which an animal is killed is fairly cruel

Early in the film two women are seen plucking dead chickens. Later we see chickens dead from being frozen in a harsh winter storm. About 40 minutes later a man is seen de-gutting a dead raven.

There is a moment about a half hour in where a man is having his finger wrapped, presumably from being cut during a farming accident, but the injury is not shown.

At the top of the film, about 6 minutes in until about 10 minutes in there is an extended flashback about a young child dying of illness. It is mentioned a few more times as it is a very important part of the backstory for the main character.
About an hour and ten minutes in there is a barn fire and a young girl dies in it, we don't see the child die on screen thankfully.

The main character - Abigail - she's fairly depressed, and in the second half of that film, it worsens and she experiences strong anxiety and worry for her friend/lover; this fear sometimes takes on the form of anxiety/panic attacks.

There's two scenes: one heterosexual between the main character and her husband, about a third of the way into the film, and one homosexual between the main character and her lover, near the end of the film. Both are shot from the waist up, are short, and have minimal sex-noises.
