When the holiday season’s hottest new toy, the Tickle-Me Wiggly, hits the shelves, the city of Hatchetfield goes mad for it, literally. That’s when Tom Houston, Lex Foster, Becky Barnes and a few familiar faces, must fight through a sea of murderous mall-goers to save humanity from an inter dimensional being with a taste for chaos. When Wiggly comes to town, will the world survive Black Friday?
This movie contains 43 potentially triggering events.
Becky's husband was confirmed to be abusive, although this is only discussed not shown, and *spoilers* she had to stab in self-defense when he attacked her.
Tom, who has PTSD, does somewhat participate in the retail riots at various points. This has nothing to do with his PTSD, however, and he's not really outwardly violent for a majority of the show. The most violent he gets is during "Do You Want to Play?" as far as I'm aware.
The way some characters treat Hannah can be considered ableist, since she is autistic-coded, e.g Ethan calling her "crazy" or Frank saying she was dropped on her head as a baby
Note that Goldstein is only evil when being possessed by Wiggly (just like everyone else). In his scenes where he's not possessed, he's a relatively normal, well-adjusted guy.
An autistic coded character (who other characters may think is hearing voices) is called crazy, other characters are mocked for being poor or victims of domestic abuse by the villain
Wiggly is treated as a god by his cult followers, as well as some religious symbolism with christmas (Wiggly saying "It's going to be my birthday, you know?")
Off handedly, Linda Monroe tells her husband to stop crying after he mistakenly hears her calling him weak (she was talking to Becky, not her husband).
One nuclear explosion is mentioned to happen offscreen
[Spoiler]
It is implied that the characters are killed by a nuclear explosion at the end, the lights go out and we hear a plane but we don’t see or hear the actual explosion or aftermath
