Spoiler! Not directly, but not to spoil anything a child is traded for sex to cover the coast of boarding school. Not incest but just as disturbing that a father would do that.

The manner is very hard. It’s discussed but the death is not shown. Just the animal in distress.

It’s very disturbing, and drawn out. I didn’t watch it my husband did but the tv was muted for a long time. When the mouse first appears it’s loved.

So far a pet adored mouse is thrown across the room in anger. You hear the mouse distressed. But it doesn’t die...yet.

After it is killed. And in a scene many bodies are displayed. I believe at least one horse is shown dead.

It’s a child. And talked about in detail. I highly advise not to watch this movie if this is a trigger. It’s very disturbing. Nothing is shown but the circumstances are terrible.
