It’s possible but not clear what the disability in Simple Jack is (even though yeah it’s very much taking the p**s out of the inspirational disabled trope) and what some people forget is that there are consequences in the narrative since it’s regarded as a critical and financial failure, and even in-universe is considered horribly offensive hence why the only people that remember the movie are the drug gang
